I believe we are all inherently good at the core and we all have something valuable to offer this world. I believe we are all trying to live our life as our best selves and I work with you in therapy to help you achieve authenticity in yourself. Sometimes what we go through in life, impacts how we feel about ourselves. My passion is helping people navigate their way through life's ups and downs.
I believe the greatest tool in therapy is holding space for our feelings and recognizing our feelings and how they impact us. I offer a compassionate environment in which we hold space for your feelings as you navigate your way through life. Using therapeutic techniques catered to your experience, together we can begin to help you incorporate tools to overcome your symptoms. Relying heavily on Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, (MBSR) together we can begin to recognize how your thoughts shape your feelings. Using CBT and MBSR, together we can begin to shift your thinking and ultimately shift the way you feel.
In our work together you will learn to identify triggers to your current symptoms. You will learn how your thoughts are influencing the way you feel both physically and mentally. Together we will build on the strengths already present in yourself to help you cope with and manage your current stress. In a safe and supportive environment you will have the space to explore your feelings and symptoms and figure how how to move through them.
